Help Documents

What's Here?

A selection of tutorial documents and links to reference sources.

Why?

Many topics in analytical chemistry and chemical equilibrium are a direct extension of material learned in prior courses. The large number of topics in General Chemistry are often discussed superficially, leaving students with gaps in their knowledge.

If you are having trouble solving analytical problems, look over these documents to see if you can identify concepts and knowledge that you are lacking. Students at this level can solve an algorithmic problem easily. However, they often don't recognize the chemical species involved to set up a calculation. You can't cook a goose if you start with a turkey.
