Many topics of analytical chemistry and chemical equilibrium are a direct extension of material learned in prior courses. The large number of topics in General Chemistry are often discussed superficially, leaving students with gaps in the knowledge that they retain.
If you are having trouble solving analytical problems, look over these documents to see if you can identify concepts and knowledge that you are lacking. Students at this level can solve an algorithmic problem, but they don't recognize the chemical species with which to start. You can't cook a goose if you start with a turkey.
